203 Squash Junior Ladders

Record your LADDER match results

All 203 Squash teams and players use ClubLocker to challenge, play and record ladder matches. These matches set positions on teams and practice squads.

Each team operates their ladder slightly differently, so please check with Team Managers and Coaches, or on your team page for the rules of your ladder.

ClubLocker is the US Squash System on which that all official matches - school matches, challenge matches, and tournaments are recorded.

Ladder matches

Team positions and positions in practice squads are set through challenge matches.

In-Season (STAPLES SQUASH)

  • During the season, try to play one challenge match every 2-3 weeks, or when coaches set a challenge match for you. You may play more challenge matches if you like.
  • Your position on the ladder will determine your position on the team for matches the following week. For example, the top eight boys will play in positions 1 through 8 on the Varsity team. The next eight boys will play in positions 1 through 8 on the JV team, and so on.
  • Coaches will not move you on the ladder. The only way you will play in a higher spot on your team, or play in a higher team, is if players above you are unavailable/ injured for a match, or if you play your way into that spot through a ladder match.
  • During the season, you can challenge up to 3 spots above you.
  • If you are challenged, you must play within 10 days of receiving a challenge or lose your spot.
  • You may challenge one player at a time.
  • The loser of a challenge match must wait 10 days before challenging the same player.

Select ‘Ladder’

Select the ladder for your team

Depending on where you play, there may be multiple ladders.

Select the correct one for your team.

Select a player you wish to challenge

You will see that you can issue a challenge to players above you.

How far above you can challenge is dictated by your team’s ladder rules.

Players you cannot challenge will be ‘Out of range’.

Issue a challenge

Play the challenge match as soon as you can both arrange a time. Don’t wait.

Follow up with the player to make sure they got your challenge.

Arrange a time to play your match

Play your match as soon as possible.

It’s up to the two players to referee and keep score for their own match.

Play best of five games.

Record your score

The winner of the match should record the score.

Check you have the correct match score entered, and hit, ‘SUBMIT’.

That’s it!

If you won your match, you will move up to that spot in the ladder.

You ‘leapfrog’ to that spot.

The loser will move down one spot.
